Shuaruta Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of users of Nuime Desktop and Nuime CLI ("Nuime"). We are dedicated to protecting your data through transparent, local-first design.
Summary: Nuime does not automatically collect or transmit telemetry or operation logs to external servers. All personal logs and settings remain strictly on your local machine.
1. No Automatic Telemetry or Tracking
Nuime does not run automatic telemetry or background tracking. We do not collect or automatically transmit your keystrokes, prompt text, screen-reader speech, audio, or project file contents to our servers or any third-party analytics services.
2. Local Data Storage
All data generated during your use of Nuime is stored locally on your device (within your local application data folder or project folder):
- Project settings and execution logs
- AI conversation history and session states
- Local cache and operation records
Credentials such as third-party API keys or authentication tokens are stored securely in your operating system's protected credential storage (e.g., Windows Credential Manager with DPAPI encryption).
3. External Service Communications
When you configure third-party AI provider API keys (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Cloudflare) to use AI assistant features, your prompts and requests are sent directly to the respective provider's endpoints. Please refer to each provider's privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.
When using external tool integrations such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), communications only take place between Nuime and the specific local or external tools designated by your explicit actions or scripts.
4. Diagnostic Information and Optional Sharing
Nuime includes an optional diagnostic generation tool to assist with troubleshooting:
- Diagnostic reports are only generated when you explicitly request them. They are saved as a plain text file on your local machine and are never transmitted automatically.
- Sensitive information (such as known API keys and tokens) is automatically redacted during generation.
- Sharing this diagnostic file with customer support is entirely voluntary and under your full control.
5. Optional User Surveys
We may occasionally display an optional invitation to provide feedback to help improve Nuime. Participation is completely voluntary, and only responses submitted through the survey form are transmitted to us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational or legal changes. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
